I am a new collector. I found a nearby auction with an MS-64 1899 O Morgan graded by MCPCG. Is this a reputable, reliable grading company? What would your maximum bid be?

Never heard of them, but if it isn't in a PCGS, NGC or maybe an ANACS slab, treat it as a raw coin. Chances are, it is either overgraded, a problem coin or both.

Never heard of it, so I'd have to say no. As for a value, at least melt, and without looking at the coin, that's it. Being as you are new, it's probably best to avoid anything like this until you can learn what you're doing, or unless you have a trusted AND knowledgeable friend going with you.

Without decent photos, it would be impossible to give you any approximation of value.
