What does it weigh? Is it magnetic? What is the diameter in millimeters? It looks too "clean"; there are no obvious hits, marks or scrapes for being 140 years old. The stars look mushy...

it's the exact same size as an authentic Morgan no way to weigh it, it is not magnetic, and still has cartwheel luster

It has the reverse of 78 with 7 tail feathers and with the top arrow feather being parallel and not a wedge; however there is no mint mark so it is supposed to be a Philadelphia strike. I am not a Morgan expert by I don't think the US Mint made 79 coins in Philly with the reverse of 78...

Wait for others to chime in...

I thought only the '79-S had the Reverse of '78. I could be wrong, but the PAF look too wide, anyway. It should look like this....

Granted, this is an 8TF but that doesn't matter.

Agreed all the details look a little "off" and not as crisp...

Every thing about it looks like a fake. Raggedy dentils, mushy details, Eagle's head, really bad lettering, etc.

Among other things the eagle's feet and the arrowheads look wrong. My guess is that it is fake.
