Hi all, I've been chronicling my discovery of the US Mint Kiosk at Union Station (DC) (see thread http://www.cointalk.com/forum/t51790) -- after working in DC for 30 years! (thanks to someone else in another thread) In any event, three items of note that are not included in that thread: 1. I may have purchased the last US Mint Harrison P Dollar rolls that the mint has. They are sold out at the web site. There are (as of 10:30 this morning) 3 "D" rolls left at the Kiosk. (There is another store, however, in DC). 2. They do sell Pres spouse proof gold coins (the ones that go for around $600) But, more importantly . . . 3. The young lady at the kiosk seemed pretty up on things. She said that on May 14, they *will* have rolls of the second 2009 Lincoln cents for "even exchange" -- i.e., 50 cents per roll. The only quirk is that she says they will only have the "P" rolls. Limit 10 per customer for $5. OTOH, they will not have the P/D Mint roll sets for $8.95 (well, at least on May 14 they won't . . . I was so excited to learn about the even exchange, that I forgot to ask) (I'm afraid that I'm unable to get them for folks here . . . all 10 of the ones I plan on getting are already spoken for. *IF* I can get in line twice, perhaps I can get extras, but don't rely on it).
