From the same bank, same teller... First these: http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=34026 Then these: http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=35741 Now these! Two $10 Silver Certs, a 1934C $10, and a 1950$10 with a slight downward shift error (The J in John Snow touches the top of the bottom obligation). At this point, I have more $10 Silver Certificates than $5 SCs, and only 2 more $1 SCs! Now I have to get an even better Chrismas present!
Beautiful notes. I've only ever seen one that age taken from circulaton, and some jerk had written, "Yes, it is real" on it in yellow ink. :headbang: Yesterday I got a 1963 L series San Fran $10 bill from the register at work, the oldest $10 I've ever found in circulation.
All I can say is that I'm jealous. Once I came across a $10 silver cert in a teller's drawer, but she said that she was buying it herself.
