This past Sunday I was gifted 30 foreigns ("I don't need them, they're just sitting in a dresser drawer"). Upon inspection and sorting this week I discovered they were all specimens from the United Kingdom & England. The dates ranged from 1921 to 1980. Happy to add any new "freebies" to the hoard. The 30 coins were sorted by denomination into the following: Half Crown = 2 Shilling = 8 6 Pence = 2 3 Pence = 2 Penny = 3 Half Penny = 2 50 New Pence = 3 10 New Pence = 3 5 New Pence = 5 I did identify 3 that had silver content: KM# 853 KM# 856 KM# 852
Nice gifts! Just to be "that guy", a half crown is 2.5 shillings. Two shillings would be a florin. The half crowns (R column) are a little bigger.
