Haven't bought much coins last year so I've been on a bit of a buying spree to make up for it. Faustina I, 161-176 AD. / AE28, 13g O: FAUSTINA ANTONINI AVG PII P P draped bust right R: CONCORDIA AVG, Concordia standing holding patera and cornucopiae RIC 1076 Still have more to post, and still waiting for more in the mail. Edited, thanks to Bing
Are you certain this is Faustina II and not senior? There are too many letters in the obverse legend. It looks more in line with Faustina I RIC 1076: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/sear5/s4674.html
Yeah I got it mixed up. The label that came with it only read Faustina Jr. Now looking at the portrait it does look more like Faustina I.
Nice lifetime issue! The obverse legend actually reads FAVSTINA AVG ANTONINI AVG PII P P. Based on the weight, it's either an as or dupondius, RIC 1089.
