Money shots lol

    What kind of camera should i buy to take clear and sharp pictures of my coins???

    Would you believe I used a Kodak Easy Share C913 9.2 megapixels to take these with?

    All I did was hold a 10x loupe up to the camera's lens and adjust my distance from the coin and snap, there it is.

    I use a Canon ELPH 300 to take mediocre shots like these:

    Though I'm sure if I took more time I could get much better.

    BTW, I got it with a bundle package for $179 on Black Friday, I think normal retail is something like $230

    My loupe is too small to focus on the whole coin time for a new camera.

    I think the lighting is more important than the camera in most cases. I can take some pretty nice pics with my Droid X phone if I can get the lighting right.

    im currently using a Cannon power shot a560 way outdated, whenever i get close the whole screen goes blurry just cant handle it anymore.

    As long as the camera has a macro setting, technique is more important than the camera.
