This is rather a dumb post but I just had to tell someone. I found $4.40 today all in change. The location was in between the back rest and seat of my cars. Due to a recent medical condition I have not been doing a lot of anything that resembled work. But today the weather was great and I felt good so I started to vacuum out my cars. There is 5 of them. Started to notice change inbetween the backrests and seats and slowly accumulated them. Don't know how long it was there but no valuable coins anyway. Since two of my cars are close to 40 years old I was hoping for some really old change but no luck. At least I've got $4.40 to spend at the next coin show that I didn't have yesterday.
For real a friend of mine did go to junk yards looking for old coins under the seats. Usually by the time a person gets to the under seat coin search, the junk yard people have pretty well gone over the cars. He never even found one cent. Now if I vacuum my cars every day do you think I'd find more money there? I will never know what is under the seat of my 68 Newport though. Absolutly can not figure out how to get it out or how to even get under it. .
In the middle of march I found around 35c in the bilge of a ship (Lady Washington), all were heavily corroded and I forgot them on board so no pics
I found a couple of Pennies in a Urinal in the mens room at the Horse track, considering my handicapping I may go back tommorow and see if they are any more
