So, While doing research on Ebay (LOL) And pricing items I saw that some of the more modern star bills were harder dates and what were called "Keys"
Can someone send me a link to any site that will help me find out more about what currency I would want to look out for while strap searching..

I did get a 2003 1.00 K 02082866 * the other day.. and saw a guy selling the same bill for a bit of a profit..
I need to get a book.. but for now would love some sites that would help..
    Thanks guys..
    ( I do have a couple books.. all printed in the 80's .. so .. )

I always keep all star notes. They all have higher values than nonstars

Stars, Though nice will only get a premium for those who collect them

Isn't that sorta like sayings "MPC's, though nice will only get a premium for those who collect them?" :)

Here's another site with a nice reference on star notes.

That's not true. Many modern star notes have high print numbers. Those notes in circulated condition are often worth face value and nothing more. They are still fun to find and collect, but many aren't worth more than face.

    An extreme case:

    1999 $1 San Francisco star: 19,840,000 printed
    1999 $1 Philadelphia star: 13,760,000 printed
    1999 $1 Minneapolis regular: 12,800,000 printed

Not sure of the relative values, but the printage totals alone are surprising....
