    Just got finished watching an interesting episode of Modern Marvels on the history channel. It is titled "Coin Operated." If you want to skip forward to the workings of the coinstar machine just skip ahead to minute 32:30.

    I liked the Modern Marvels snipit of coin star. It was quite interesting. I am still happy that the coin star at stop and shop in the town of Hyde Park still rejects silver dimes and other interesting coins.

    Of course there's no talk about the internal reject bin. They say foreign coins and even slugs are returned to the customer. Sure they are... ;)
