Modern Coins based on Chess

Hi,

I am interested in collecting modern proof coins.

I would like to know if there is any coin based on chess theme (i like palying chess alot, so y not start a coin collection).

If anyone has come across such coins, i would be clad to know.

There are several Armenian com coins with the chess theme.

 

I must get one of those hungarian chess coins ! Great ! And Square...very very original !

 

I love chess too. I'm gonna have to get me some of those coins.

 

What would be awesome would be to put together a chess set using coins with

Kings
Queens
A Tower or Chariot for the Rooks
Knights
Bishops (could possibly be similarly ranked religious representations)
and primitive soldiers/infantry for the pawns.

The tough part would be finding silver and bronze coins of similar representations to represent both opponents (plating the coins would be cheating).

I have been playing chess for 45 years....and I must add that this is indeed a fine unusual thread!
