missing copper above the T

    This isn't my coin, but I do have a coin that this has happened to. Where's the copper?

    The raised area represents a small area of die damage. Perhaps a die gouge or a short die dent. The missing copper is where the copper plating split under the force of the strike. Very common.

    Yes very, very common. Many of these are in the 90's.
