Missing Clad???

    I have this Washington quarter that I believe is missing clad or am I wrong is Environmental damage? Any feedback is appreciated, thank you for your time and input.

    Welcome to CT, @jayden. Your state quarter is environmental damage. A real missing clad looks very different. Here is one in my collection. :cat:

    Definitely environmental damage. Missing clad layer only occurs on one side as the example shown in the other post.

    Here are many metal detected clad coins and nickel with environmental damage toning.
