Basement slab, I wouldn't pay that much for a 'raw' coin.

The coin looks cleaned. If it was really in MS condition and wasn't cleaned the seller would have submitted it to a top grading company.

I know that seller personally... I sell them quite a few of the coins they put in those PCS holders... I'm pretty sure I sold them that quarter... Trust me... Your lucky you didn't win it.

If you look at the sellers other listings you'll notice he photos these slabs differently than his legitimate ones. He doesn't want you to see what the coin actually looks like.

Are you saying that you cleaned it??

No. It was sold by me as a cleaned coin... And priced as such... You see where it ended up.

I unfortunately cannot control what is done with it after it leaves my hands.

It's unfortunate how people try to take advantage of other collectors. I wish we could all get along and be honest when selling (and yes, I am trying out for Misster America! Lol).

    Problem coin

That appears to be a problem coin. Based upon the photos & basement slab, there is no way for me to tell how much of a problem the coin actually is. It is good that you did not get it. BTW, the only thing good about the coin photo was the mint mark. It looked genuine but even that is impossible to tell with 100% certainty based upon the bad photo.

Go to the Westchester NY coin show in 2-weeks and you will find much better coins for your money. Perhaps I will see you there?
