Greetings and Welcome, as far as your dollar bills, I'm afraid I can be of no assistance there. But given time somebody with a little more knowledge that me will come along.

    Again, Welcome

    Welcome.
I've moved your thread to the paper money forum, but I've left a redirect so that you could find it.

In answer to your question, your notes, if genuine, are worth more than face value.

I have a question about error money:
Wouldn't its value depend on someone's interest in it? I mean, it's hard to put a value on error coins because they're generally unique and rare... I would guess to take the highest offer. (but then again I'm no expert ;) )

    thanks

i absolutely agree that it would depend upon who wanted them and how much value they place on them. :thumb: i liked your reply
    thank u

Thanks. I was wondering how you guys would put a value on the error coins because of those kind of things. Just asking questions.

That's true of pretty much anything....basic rules of supply and demand. You could have the most rare coin, bill, car, action figure, etc. in the world, but if no one wants it, its $$$ worth is zero. So yah, sometimes its like voting for class president in high school....all about popularity and nothing to do with actual qualifications. Other times its about finding the right buyer at the right time. That's part of what makes ebay so successful....your chances of finding the "right" buyer are higher.

As for me, there I enjoy collecting errors the cheap way....just daily searching my pocket change and bills. Sometimes I'll go through a few rolls from the bank, but not often. There are only a few famous errors I'm tempted to get an example of, like the 1955 DDO Lincoln, but for the price, there are soooooo many other coins/bills I could add to my collection ;)

slmurf: I'm new to bill collecting myself, so I can't really help you with a value, but I'm looking forward to seeing your picts ;)
