    Hello,
I have a $2 bill that the top border on front is not the same as the rest of the bordrb. It's much more narrow. The border is completely even on the back so that the printed area is centered.
    But the front is not.
Is this a misprint or a miscut?
And does this raise the value?

You'll have to try to post a clear photo of both sides.

Good morning, I edited the post to include pictures. Is this better?

On a perfectly registered note, the back printing should be perfectly centered (it is smaller) within the front printing. You can hold it up to the light to see how well it's aligned. So it looks like yours is a bit off. It would lower the value of the note, in my opinion, though the condition is such that it's worth $2 anyway.

Appears to be some staining. As well as folds and creases. The imperfect centering on the obverse is not off enough. Ideally one border should be super thin, and the other one so wide that a part of the next note on the sheet is visible on your note. Then it has value.

A poorly centered note, but within BEP tolerances.
Not an error, or misprint or miscut.
