I normally don't lurk in this section of the forum but I'm glad that I did! This video is really impressive and even more so considering that this was made back in 1940s.

I sure did!

I didn't know youtube had a lot of interesting videos and it didn't cross my mind at all! I randomly typed in some world mints and there are some fascinating videos from the Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, Japan Mint etc. Would be interesting to see a compilation of such videos and watch them in a run.

 

Nice video. Nice dramatic background music. When the Mint worker stuck his face near the furnace I thought that was crazy!

 

A very dirty job for those furnace tenders!

This video gets "rediscovered" every so often.
