I understand that the first eight states did not have the orange and black wrapper. Question is, how do I complete the set?
I've gotten quite a few in the orange wrappers, but I have also gotten a few from banks that just have a plastic shrink wrap around them. They appear to be direct from the mint - thoughts? As for the original 8 states - I wasn't smart enough at the time to get a roll.
The mint did not sell rolls of quarters for the first eight states so you can't build a full set of mint Wrapped rolls. You can get bank rolls of quarters of those first eight states but you have no way of actually knowing for sure what is in a bank wrapped You could be paying for a MS solid roll, and you might get roll of circs with an AU or MS coin on either end and no telling what the dtes are in between. The only way to know for sure is to crack the roll open, and then you don't have a bank wrapped roll anymore.
