Id email the Mint this question but that may take weeks for a response.... Figured this way is faster... Anyways, I have a subscription for the ASE's and the Proof sets, the ASEs were to ship out yesterday but I have not received any email from the Mint saying they shipped. Is this normal procedure for them? Do I get an email when my order has been shipped? Thanks in advance. Jim
Yes... if you have any subscriptions or backordered orders they send you an E-mail when they ship it. They also won't charge you until then (if paying by credit card.)
Morning Jim; Due to the fact that the mint is a little under the weather because they're tweaking their online system you may not be getting your e-mails in a timely fashion, if at all. I too have subscriptions for silver eagles and proof sets....got the eagles.....no e-mail. Also, I see that the 50 state quarters proof is now on sale....got a subscription for that....no e-mail. Hope it comes soon. Ken
There have been plenty of reports in the past of the mint emails not arriving until after the coins arrived
That's been pretty typical for me. I check the online status and it says "in stock and reserved". The package arrives the next day and the web site says "shipped" with the previous day's date. I don't think I've every gotten advance notice of a shipment except the ones sent by ground package service.
mint... the mint dosen't always e-mail you first........they just shipped mine with no contact. steve
I signed up for subscriptions last year with the mint. I subscribed to every annual coin and coin set except for the gold and the commemorative releases. I recieved every one of them last year. I have heard and recieved nothing so far this year from the mint, not even an email. Once you have established a subscription account with the mint, arent they supposed to automatically send you your selections every year until you cancel them? If its going to continue to be this much of a hassle I'll just close my mint account, and that'll be that.
Well theoretically they're supposed to lol but it doesn't always happen... especially now that their onlime system is still having the bugs ironed out.
Morning Indian; Like you I also have subscriptions with the US Mint for various product lines. I've been doing it this way for about the last four years or so. No problem...till this year. I'm glad to see that I am not the only one having this problem. It is the same as you have stated...no e-mail...no product. In years past I've always gotten the state quarters proof set in the middle of January. I still have not received it or an e-mail and am getting concerned.....as you know the product is available for purchase. I'd e-mail them but can't seem to find that option on their web site...maybe some of you computer guru's out there know a secret way to contact them. Anywho, I'm going to give customer service a call on this matter later today; probably won't amount to anything but maybe I can shake a few apples out of their tree.
Just got off the phone with the folks at the US mints customer service. They assure me that all subscriptions will be honored and that the delay in e-mail communication is because of the change in service providers. E-mails should resume shortly....lets hope they're right.
