That's a pretty standard amount you paid for those years. The US Gov. made quite a bit of those particular years. I don't know how knowledgeable you are of the Jefferson nickels, but you should check out if your nickels have full steps on Monticello. It's worth a look because those varieties have some nice secondary market action. Great way to make some money!

Unfortunately, Alan, I don't think that this lot was worth much more than $2.50 or $3 tops. While these are all uncirculated and in original government packaging, there is nothing that sells for any premium.

The value in these sets is in the cello packs that you don't have, the Denver Mint coins. There are 3 40% silver half dollars in the Denver packages. Unfortunately, that is where all of the value from 1968, 1969 and 1970 Mint Sets lies.

Unfortunately, someone took the pearl and you bought the left over oyster in this deal.

You really can't leave any negative feedback, because the items were probably described correctly. I'm assuming you bought this on ebay, right?
Seller break up sets like this hoping to catch someone off guard. This time it was you, so just learn from it. An inexpensive mistake.
