"The Mint has run out of 2007 gold, silver and platinum American Eagles for its distribution network so the November numbers are it for the year."

This is a statement from David Harper. http://www.numismaster.com/ta/numis/Article.jsp?ad=article&ArticleId=3509

"Distribution Network", I am assuming this only refers to the bullion network coins and not W minted proof and burnished dies that come in a box available through the mints website coins?

Is this how you read it?

I have a hard time believing it.

If this is the case look at these numbers. Looks like December will not have a big jump.

I assume they had enough Platinum for 30K reverse proof 10th anniversary sets?

The way I am reading this is that the mint is producing the items available from the mints website (Proofs and Burnished Uncs), but the bullion eagles available through dealer networks is closed out for the year.

Production for next year's coins always starts in Dec. of the previous year. So the only coins sold in Dec. were made in Nov. They sold out all the business strike bullion coins they made this year. That's all this announcement means.
