I am somewhat confused on the mintage of Silver Eagles. I have several Eagles that have no mint marks at all, I assume these are just bullion coins. Where are these coins minted ? The only Eagles with the "W" I have came from proof coins. I'm not sure if I have seen an "S" or "P" mint.

The eagles minted for bullion don't have mint marks and were made at the Philadelphia mint before 2001 and are now made at the West Point mint.
Some uncirculated or "Burnished" Eagles were minted for collectors with the "W" mint mark from 2006-2008.
