Mint gold price question.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

On this past Monday, thinking that they would be raising prices today, I ordered some gold coins from the US Mint.
My order status is now "on hold", and I see that the price has not changed yet. Could my price still change? Thanks.

When you checked out through the mint website, you were quoted a certain price in the transaction. I don't think they're gonna change it. Case in point. Back a few years ago (2007?) the mint all of a sudden stopped offering the AGE's because of the rapidly rising metals prices but they neglected to suspend sales of gold buffalos. I ordered a Buff for nearly what gold was at "spot" (at that time) and the transaction went through.

If I remember correctly the price is set at the time of order.
