Mint Error or post-mint damage???

    I wonder if this is a mint-error or a post-mint damage?

    This is an Indian silver 1 Rupee from 1840 coin.

    Any thoughts??

    I think its post mint damage because of the way the rim/edge swells around the dent. BTW welcome to Cointalk!
