Mint error or fake coin?

    20181005_135107.jpg Here I found this interesting 1990 10 franc.

    Question is; fake or a mint error?

    The coin is the correct size at 23mm but 0.183 of a gram overweight.
    Also missing engravers mark under the R of RF. Also note weak strike. And the central disc has a rounded edge. 20181005_135331.jpg

    Its a French 10 Franc coin from 1990.

    I believe I read somewhere that these types of coins were counterfeited. Mostly British Bi-metal coins.

    I also think I read something about fake Canadian Toonies.
