Mint error or fake coin?

Here I found this interesting 1990 10 franc.

Question is; fake or a mint error?

The coin is the correct size at 23mm but 0.183 of a gram overweight.
Also missing engravers mark under the R of RF. Also note weak strike. And the central disc has a rounded edge.

What do you think?

what country is it from ?

looks like it had a lot of damage. I wonder if someone popped out the middle section and soldered it back in.

Its a French 10 Franc coin from 1990.

 

Looks real. Maybe $1

 

I believe I read somewhere that these types of coins were counterfeited. Mostly British Bi-metal coins.

 

That looks like one of the counterfeits, imo.
