Hi. I purchased my first bank roll at a coin shop and found this Minnesota Double Die Reverse #12/VCR#12. You can see the doubling right next to the small tree in the picture, those three marks on the coin, that is the doubling. This is also my first Double Die coin to add to my collection. I am thinking about getting is graded. One guy on ebay is selling his DDR#12 for $224. Wow! His is graded. The coin is in good shape and I used gloves to handle it. Later.

    Nice find.
I have found a few different ones but can't keep track of what number.....one suggetion. Put a watch on the guy who is asking $224 for his and see if he gets it. I would be VERY shocked to see that happen. Alot of the ones I see are going for much less.

His is a Buy it now Price only. No bidding. The extra tree coins are getting a much better price than the other double die minnesota quarters. Some of the lesser double dies are getting only $6-8 because they are not classsified as an extra tree coin.

Well like I said---just watch it. I would say the odds are very much in favor that he will not get it.
