Just curious; what makes this a "replacement" note. @mpcusa ? https://bid.bkauctions.com/Series-6...t-Certificate-Note-PMG-Very-Fine-25_i38277072
On this MPC, the omission of a suffix letter designates it as a replacement note. Regular notes had both a prefix and suffix letter.
Thanks for the info. I'm not a military note collector, but did find it curious and now I know. So, instead of a star, they just leave the suffix off. Interesting.

Yes, there is no suffix at the end, I have this note in a couple different grades 67PPQ And just picked this one up not to long ago in 53PPQ the quality of the note actually is not much different however the price is that’s why I like the A/U grades so much.
You will find for the most part that replacement (Mpc) grade lower then a VF30 Collectors routinely even go in to (Fine grades) when buying these A/U grades in these and above are almost non existent.
Brilliant!!!! As I said I must take photos of the currency/ notes I have. I am tempted to actually sell them soon. ( this is not a advert ) But I will show them on my YouTube channel and post in the proper space.
This is my favorite MPC, not replacement but love the radar number and for a $1 in a dealer "bargain box", what can I say?
