So I am on a business trip to Monterrey, Mexico and may have a chance to find a coin shop and look for coins. Anywhere I travel I like to find coins from that country. My question is what Mexican coins would you consider interesting to collect. Gold is not in consideration, but silver certainly is!!!
I'm a fan of the design on the Caballito Peso, but those can get pricey in higher grades. https://coinweek.com/education/coin-grading/world-coins-tips-grading-mexican-caballito-peso/
Some inexpensive options include: ~1 oz silver bullion Libertads ~20 Cenatavos coins from the 1940s-1970s https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...os-km-439-1943-1955-cuid-1116448-duid-1418414
The small dos pesos gold piece is actually pretty affordable... it's pretty small, of course, but a good entry into gold obsession... Otherwise, I second the Cabalito recommendation. This one didn't cost me too much.
