    A Gold 20 Pesos dated 1959 in MS63/64 (raw).
My new K&M gold book notes a mintage of Est. 13,000 with no $$ values it also notes "During 1960-1971 a total of 1,518,414 pieces were restruck, most likely dated 1959."

    1) I guess I should assume that this coin is a restrike!
    2) Should the value be discounted because it is a restrike?
    3) Dealer asking $227

    Any thoughts??

That's about what I would expect to pay. Coin is nearly half oz and gold is pushin $430.

    That's a pretty decent price I suppose...

If he thought it was one of the 13,000 you can bet he would be asking a multiple of that price. The lack of a price in Krause in this case is a signal that it's too rare to have had enough recorded sales for them to form a valuation estimate.
