This 5 Pesos coin was struck as a circulating commemorative to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Venustiano Carranza, one of the leaders of the 1914 Mexican revolution and President of Mexico.

The man had a fantastic beard, that's for sure!

It's fairly decently sized coin too at 36mm. And frankly, I love big silver coins whether they be American or foreign. Besides, Mexican silver is always fun and well made. After all, Mexico has the longest tradition of making coins of any country in the western hemisphere, making coins over 250 years before the United States struck its first coins.
