Ok I've spent all day scouring the net and can't find anything to help me determine if the coin I have is a wide date or narrow. Anyone know of a good reference for this? The guide just merely mentions there's a variety and then that's it. I know there's no price difference but that is not the point. Thanks in advance, Jessica
This site shows a couple examples of narrow/wide examples; may help? http://www.anythinganywhere.com/commerce/coins/coinpics/varieties.htm
I've been to that site but they didn't have the 1913 5 centavos. So I'm unable to determine what would be wide or narrow for that date. Thank you though.
There's a user here named Jblonde who can probably help you, but he hasn't been by a lot lately. He knows a lot about Mexican coins.
I collect Mexican coins but the varieties don't interest me. I just want one of each date and don't care about the varieties. Today I purchased the 1912 5 centavo, which is the last of that series that I need and is very rare.
Oooh congrats Hiddendragon! Varieties are a pain but I want to be sure people know what they are getting and well, I need to know any way. LOL
