I believe the value of the uncirculated coins is about $3.90 (am I right?) is there any sort of premium for this 1964 mint set? Opinions on value?
Nice set!! I had a 1968 set and it toned real nicely. What do you want for it, $5? The peso with it goes for around $10 by itself. I would keep it if I were you but I'm not so you can take a look on ebay and see what you find out. good luck Anyway I was wrong. Oh, besides that take a good look at those coins for errors. I had found a huge crack on my 64. Alrighty then, my last take on this!! The Morelos peso for that year is silver so it's worth around $8-$10 on ebay. And like I said before the other coins are still worth something especially the 20 centavos.
All these coins in the set are distressingly common but there are often some very good quality coins in these. I don't believe there's any premium yet but there might be eventually. The 1 P is much tougher than the other coins and does have a premium now. These were not heavily saved and the mint set coins represent much of the supply.
