Metal Detecting

I live in the suburbs, so 11 months of the year this is not an option. But I go to my cottage for a month a year or so, which is in farmland that has been lived in for years.

I was wondering if completely waterproof metal detectors are very expensive, or how much a simply normal one cost's? Thank you

Best thing to do is look on the internet at different places that sell them to get an idea of what one will cost. imo
