Hello everyone, Yesterday I did a quick 4 hour Metal Detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park in NYC. I couldn't stay longer because of a baby shower I needed to attend later in the afternoon. My finds.. 1 Standing Liberty Quarter (Dateless) 2 Winged Liberty Head Dimes 3 Indian Head Cents - 1865, 1895 & 1903 2 Silver plated religious pendants Everything.. $3.57 in Clad and Pennies Misc Metals 1 Vintage NYC Subway Token 7 Wheat Cents
3 silvers is great for only 4 hours. That’s one every hour and twenty minutes. It was a nice day weather wise as well. So congratulations on those finds.
Cool finds Paddyman. I went out last weekend and found a bunch of change a Sterling ring. Too bad the diamond was cubic zirc. And a silver token that said "remember you are brave", with some funky emblem on the other side.
Cool.. It's obviously a heart and the other symbol is a Celtic symbol symbolizing the Holy Trinity.. So together is a union. Between a person and the trinity. Ultimate love.. IMO
Haha.. At the baby shower they played a game where you had to blow up a balloon and stick it under your shirt then pop it.. I told the guys "I don't need a balloon because my gut already makes me look like I'm pregnant!"
