    Hello everyone,
Top of the morning to you!
    IMG_20240315_110731797_HDR.jpg

Yesterday I did a 3 hour metal detecting hunt at Corlears Hook Park. This is the area in the Lower East Side where the word Hooker originated. I'm not going to explain, just think about it.

No silver on this hunt either.
So in the tradition of @SensibleSal66 I have named this thread Silverless Saturday :sour:

I think I hunted it out after several years. This was the park that helped me reach my record of 116 US Silver Coins in a year.

    Yesterday's finds..

Not all the wealth is in silver. Looks like a pretty good haul to me. Congrats!

Could the little airplane be a prewar Cracker Jack toy?

Your in new York so I'm surprised you haven't found any civil war relics or at least if you did it has been awhile.

Great finds Paddy! @Tall Paul is correct about the airplane being a Cracker Jack toy, early to mid forties I believe. The Egyptian piece looks like a pendant or from a keychain. Sorry the lower left corner is chipped off. Akk lol ways nice to get outdoors and do something you love doing.
