Yesterday I did a 6 hour detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park.

Nice finds,don't give up you'll find it eventually I would definitely accept finding a 1916 S otherwise.

You saw that 1916 and your heart started pounding. Then you looked for a mint mark and the dirt made it look like a D. At this point you were so excited you had to take a break from mental detecting until you could breathe. You finally got home and washed the dirt off under running water only to realize this coin wasn’t the D. Your wife laughed and you were sad. I’m so sorry to hear about this Paddy. Have you decided to sell your detectors and give up this weekend sport? LOL I sure hope not! Great finds!
