    Hello eveyone,
I just found some time to show my Metal Detecting goodies from this past Monday which was Memorial Day 2022. It was a 5 hour hunt at Brooklyn's Fort Greene Park.

Always amazed at how many toy cars you find.
That 1917 Mercury is very cool, and in good shape for being buried.

I think that 1917 dime is better than the one in my collection which I would have found way back in the 50's. Nice finds Ed.

I pulled it out and photographed my 1917. I suppose it is a little better than the one you found, but not by much.

I don't think I've mentioned this yet so I will now - I'm amazed by your finds in NYC. My intuition says those really old coins should have been found long ago in such a populous place. Then again, I realize there were a lot of coins dropped in NYC over the decades, and how many folks are really seeking them out (like you)? Anyway, I enjoy your posts, and finds.

You're gonna make me buy a detector. I retire in a year or two, so...
