This past weekend was super cold. I went to a local park for 3 hours. I detected a few clad and Cents.

But I also wanted to share 3 items that were 14K GOLD and 1 Silver ring I eyeballed on NYC sidewalks in the span of 1 week :jawdrop::greedy::cool:

Cross, earring and cufflink. The silver ring is designed like a nail.

No kidding... Last time I detected on an old beach. Got a strong signal and dug my way down. It was deep so I figured it was something.... And I saw round gold in the hole! I nearly wet myself with excitement.... It was a twist off top for somebody's wine cooler. It sure did look like an eagle in the bottom of that hole.

I've never used a metal detector but have wanted to for a long time. Where the dragstrip is located my old boss and myself believe it was once an old homestead. I would love to be able to explore the land around me. Plus this is Porch Band of Creek Indians land. No telling what can be found!

Do you choose random places to explore?

Thank you for all of your posts. I live in the country down a dirt road. Long ago, maybe 70 or more years ago, they farmed this land as well as cattle. Our home is an old trailer that has an extension in the front and an addition in the back. My wife found some old coins an this land about 30 years ago. They were put away, never to be found again.

I live on Tribal land in Atmore Alabama. I believe this once was a homestead, I base my opinion on certain things. I'm not 100℅ sure.
