Hello everyone, Yesterday I did an 8 hour metal detecting hunt at 5 different locations throughout an area of Brooklyn NYC. Here are my finds Seated Liberty Dime 1891 - Last Year I now have detected 4 Seated coins 3 - 10C 1 - 25C Winged Liberty Head Dime - 1944 Silver Roosevelt - 1963 Wartime Nickel - 1943 P And I finally found me some GOLD (Surface find with detector) The chain is 10K but the pendant is not gold.

Still looking for your first gold coin thoughtake a trip to Europe and find a spill of 100's of hammered coins within a day,that's what metal detecting in Europe is like,you would love it!!!.

Hey everyone.. I just realized that yesterday I found me a Trifecta of Dimes! (3 coins of the same denomination but from a different series) If I would of found a Barber Dime like I detected last week it would of been a Quadfecta
Being in NY im surprised you haven't been finding lots of British cartwheels from the revolution era.
Those are usually found in small towns with wooded areas, older houses/structures, ship ports and crop fields. Upstate NY, Long Island etc. I don't own a car to get to those places
