    Hello everyone,
Yesterday I did a 4 hour Metal Detecting trip at Highland Park NYC. It was the day after some crazy rains which affected much of NYC

I did great with a pretty muddy park and on and off showers all morning :woot:

You found a cool spot. Nice older dates. I would keep hammering that same area. Nice to find quality over quantity. Were you digging all targets? Did the wet ground improve the signals you were getting?
I remember some of my best days, I came back covered in mud.
    I love the little cross.

Some nice silver coins, a silver and turquoise ring and a neat token. What a varied and wonderful few hours, well done.

I was thinking about you, Ed, as I watched the news. Wow, a lot of water.

Not a big Barber fan but you can't argue with 'Free'..and in really nice condition!
Wet ground improves detector's depth penetration as well as ease of retrieval.
    Laissez les bons temp rouler,
