I wanted to show what I have metal detected halfway in 2022 NYC detecting finds - 36 Standing Liberty Quarter - 1 Silver Washington - 2 Barber Dime - 1 Winged Liberty Head Dime - 21 Silver Roosevelt - 7 Jefferson War Nickel - 4 South Carolina detecting finds - 43 (Seeded) Walking Liberty Half - 1 Barber Quarter - 2 Silver Washington - 1 Barber Dime - 1 Winged Liberty Head Dime - 22 Silver Roosevelt - 16 And of course my best find ever! 1853 Seated Liberty Quarter Let's see if I can beat my detected total finds in 2021 of 116
That's incredible! I do metal detecting too, but so far the best I've found is a 1936 Mercury dime. I still savor that moment when I popped the dirt off and saw what it was!! I've found a couple wheat pennies too but nothing else notable. The challenge is finding a good spot!
