    Hello everyone,
Yesterday I did a quick 2 hour hunt at Corlears Hook Park in the Lower East Side Manhattan.

I got a good signal on my detector in the silver number range. I think it was 32 or 33. When I moved the dirt plug and looked in I saw a marble. At first I though.. Silver marble? :wacky:
But then I realized that there was a silver war nickel deeper in the hole! :woot:
I think this is the second time I find a marble together with a coin!

This Nickel is silver coin #58 for 2021

I remember finding a key at a playground and I gave it to my dad so I could go back to play. I was around 4. Anyways, my dad bought a new truck and got it a few days after I got the key and the key worked for it!

We called those silver marbles "Steelies". LOL You would be ahead of the game if you found one of solid silver.

I think the lesson here for me is….. When I visit New York, I need to leave my metal detector at home!
