    Nice finds.
I found 2 pocket knives myself last week. I have a huge jar full of them. Makes a nice display.

We need a metal detecting forum here.

From 5 hrs. to 6 hr. huh? Where are you finding the extra time?
Ok, back to your revenue stream. $10.59/6 = $1.765/hr. Keep buying those penny stocks. :hilarious:

Nice finds. I have been looking for a thimble myself. My buddy found one last sunday at an old home site. Thanks for sharing!

That topic has been brought up a few times before. The mods just state to post where our detecting finds seem fitting. I either post in the General Discussion forum or the US Coins forum such as today.

Just wait a dang minute! There are many of us who have waited 10 years to see a forum for Tokens & Medals. Right now, they are scattered all over.....Coin Chat, US Coins, World Coins, Bullion just to name a few. ~ Chris

That’s amazing. Is it allowed to metal detect in NYC parks?

No! Exonumia isn't even a forum, but that thread holds dozens and dozens of subjects that have nothing to do with Tokens & Medals. ~ Chris

NYC Parks Department issues a free yearly detecting permit. Also a list of NYC parks and beaches where detecting is permitted. I was actually stopped yesterday and asked to show my permit. I was no problem. It's in my detecting vest at all times!
