    Hello everyone,
Yesterday I did a 5-hour dirt fishing hunt at Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn NYC. I left my gloves home by mistake, and it was drizzling in the morning for about 2 hours.
So, my hands became all muddy :(.. I won't make that mistake again!

1919 - Winged Liberty Head Dime
And another silver pendant. I found one last weekend.

Everything - Tons of Dimes

This Cent was damaged. I find a lot of these and keep them so they won't fall into the hands of new collectors. They would think it is some kind of mint error! :hilarious:

I hope the weather is good for this next July 4th. I am off from work, so I am heading to a place called Hunter Island where we found a new area loaded with silver coins. I'm going at it alone and making sure I will take frozen Gatorade and plenty of insect repellant and tick repellant. Both repellants are needed in this area!

    Thanks!

As you can see in this map the location is not really an Island but more of a peninsula. It is north of the parking lot and Orchard Beach. The big yellow X is the area where I will be detecting. The area is full of Deer.

That silver pendant is intricate as the dickens. I bet someone was broken hearted when they discovered that had fallen from it's chain.

In addition to the insect repellants don't forget your sunblock.

I wonder if you can train a dog to sniff out coins to challenge paddyman, that would be great huh. Just kidding!

I see a bunch of "missing clad layer" in there too. :yack:

Don't forget the gloves/ Deet. Long sleeves and long pants going into Lyme disease territory. ;)

The protective clothing I have perfected over the years.

We use this to defend ourselves against ticks!

Definitely. I'm fair skinned so I burn easily. The only place I don't apply sunblock are my ears because they are covered by my headphones most of the time.
