Did a quick 3 hour Metal Detecting hunt early this hot and humid morning..

These were my finds -
15 - Quarters
12 - Dimes
2 - Nickels
24 - Cents
1 - Costa Rica 5 Colones
1 - 10 oz Fishing Weight
A toy car and a junker medallion

Cool finds! May I ask where you metal detect? I know my state has strict laws against metal detecting unless on owned property or property that the owner has given permission to dig on.

 

My 3 main areas are Brighton Beach, Coney Island in Brooklyn New York, McCarren Park also in Brooklyn and John V. Lindsay East River Park in Lower Manhattan.

Which state is this? Did you just look up laws for that state?

 

Virginia. I have a metal detector, but no good place to legally use it. I looked up the laws a little while back.

 

Hmm. That is a bummer.
