Metal Detecting - 1 Silver 5C, 1 IHC & Tokens

Yesterday I did a 5 hour Metal Detecting trip at Highland Park NYC.

These were my finds

1942 P Silver War Nickel


1901 Indian Head Cent


1917 D Lincoln Cent (Best of the bunch)

I identified 3 of them

Brith Abraham medallion but mine has a Star of David

Nice group. Finding that many medals is pretty cool.

 

Have you found any varieties ever for your findslike doubled dies or especially RPM's on those war nickels.

 

Yes. I was surprised to find that many and I usually find just one token but I was delighted with the 3

 

I love Highland Park. You can forget you are in the city.

 

I detect in the upper area of the park. It's a steep climb and tiring but worth it!

 

Well it looks like you had another great day in the parks of NY. Great finds in all areas of collecting.

 

The coins are nice but I rather like those pins you found. They would be the find of the day for me.
