Hi all, This morning I set a challenge for myself. To go to my local park and detect $1.00 in US Coins between 7:00 - 8:30 am At 8:15 I detected the last 2 coins I needed. First was a Cent then a Quarter.. This is why it's important to check all dug holes twice! My total in US Coins was $1.14 An old ship anchor - Misc Pics - Have a blessed day!
I would like to see you guys get some silver and gold. You otta go out into those fields and older house yards! I have found some silver with my Garrett ace 200.
Great pictures Paddyman! I need to go detecting soon. I can find clad all day here in my town, but have only ever found one silver, a 1956-D Rosie. And yes Noah, it was in an older yard. My problem is getting permission to hunt private yards. I'm too timid to ask, I need to work on that! When I bought my Garrett ATP last year, I told the wife I would find her a 2 Ct diamond ring. Well I found a diamond ring, not quite 2 Ct and not with my detector! I found this beauty last week laying in the parking lot of my downtown bank after having dumped some coins. See, CRH does pay, lol. It fits the wife's finger, but we are waiting to see if somebody claims it. I let the bank know I found it and they are putting a notice in their building newsletter to let everyone who works there know about a found ring. I really hope whoever lost it lets them know so I can return it. I would get a lot of satisfaction from that.
'Twill be the season come spring, now that snow is falling in many places, to get out and find rings that slipped off fingers while shoveling. That's how I lost my class ring and first wedding band.
