metal comp of the UK 2 pence?

what its made of? give me %'s if you can. i like copper and bronze coins and i like the size of this one in particular. i only have one and i might want to get more in the future.

i found it, pre 92 2 pence are 97% copper.

It's plated steel if I'm not wrong. There isn't much copper on them.

 

after 92 they are plated steel. mine is a 71, first year for the 2 pence and is 95% copper. i just love the look size and feel of this coin. it makes me want more of them!

 

I live in the UK lol, can't stop accumulating those 1970s ones (got most of the dates in mint state now)
