I want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and I hope you get the coin or item you've desired. As the years have gone by so have many loved ones and moments we've all cherished. In 1969 or 1970 as an eight or nine year old, I fondly remember finding that small little package tucked into the toe of my stocking, tearing the colored wrapping paper and looking with wonder at the shiny silver dollar. A 1921 Peace Dollar in a fancy new plastic (two piece) holder All my other presents paled in comparison to this treasure... Those holiday memories have remained fresh in my mind and I know each of you have special coin collecting memories which seem to stay with you thru the years. Again, Merry Numismatic Christmas BoneDigger

Merry Merry To All, Well, no sooner had Santa and Mrs. Claus gotten to bed 11:30PM in burst little elf #2 at 4:30 AM shouting "It's Christmas GET UP!!!..." So, as usual I got an early start on the day. Shirt, hand made pj's (wife knits and sews), screw-driver set, socks, rechargable battries and charger, The Official Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection book, and TWO Dirty Old Roman Coins w/pouch and instructional CD!!! It's pretty neat Merry Christmas Bone/Ben
Well, all we had this morning were two four-legged elfs that squeeked and shook their collars to go outside and pee. Got a call from our daughter who is near Niagara Falls. Unbelievable, but she complained about NOT having any new snow. How things change after two years of being out of central New York. Now she likes snow. Go figure. It's a dreary 50 degrees here. I actually saw a mosquito this morning. Must be global warming. Nice Christmas, but a little hard to figure. My nephews gave me four very nice bottles of wine, and I appreciate it very much. Nevertheless, they know that I have about 1,300 bottles of pretty good in the mine, and I only drink about one glass per week. Another yet unknown Christmas elf tried to bury a deer skull under an azalea bush by the front door. It remains a mystery. My christmas activity. See attached. The four-legged elfs, Bill and Emily. See attached. Mystery skull. See attached.
