I'm relatively new here but wanted to say seasons greetings to everyone. I've been somewhat interested in coin collecting since I was a kid, but since I inherited quite the haul I never could have imagined, my wife keeps asking why I'm collecting more now? It's an illness, is there a cure? I do believe collectables and precious metals are going to soar in the future. It's a good hedge, as long as it's in moderation.
It's a healthy addiction. Unlike being addicted to alcohol, drugs, gambling etc. you will always have something to show for it. Happy Holidays!
